Staff Membership

Dear Staff Members:

As you begin a new school year, we hope you will consider joining Massapequa Special Education PTA (SEPTA).  SEPTA represents all students who receive special education services in our district and their families, in all 9 buildings. You probably find that at least one (if not many) of your students has some kind of disability, and information on that disability is available through SEPTA. We all know that knowledge is power and by empowering yourself, you will be able to be the best teacher, service provider or support staff you can be for all students.

Your membership in SEPTA enables us to bring information to the community through speakers and literature, as well as sponsor events geared to the abilities of students.

Please place the tear out below in an envelope marked:  “SEPTA Membership” and include $10.00 cash or check made payable to: Massapequa SEPTA and place it in the SEPTA mailbox in your school’s general office. Please contact: Dan Batik at Massapequa_septa@yahoo.com with any questions.
