Dear Friends,

Welcome back to another school year! We at Massapequa SEPTA would like to invite you to once again become a member, and help us to continue our mission:

• To educate parents and staff through speakers, workshops and information regarding special education and related areas

• To provide information on the multitude of services available for our children locally, statewide and nationally

• To create social and recreational opportunities for all the children with special needs inMassapequa(including those who are placed out of district)

As you may be aware, SEPTA represents over 1,000 students and their families receiving services district wide. We have, and will continue working closely with our school administrators to improve

the availability and quality of special education services for our children.

Your $10.00 membership ($5.00 for each additional member) will help support the children and families with special education needs inMassapequa.

Please place the tear out below in an envelope marked: “SEPTA Membership” and include a check made payable to: "Massapequa SEPTA.”  Please return it to your home school or mail it to me at:

Your Membership cards will be sent home through the school, or if you prefer, include a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will mail them to you.
